Web Concept - Blank Borders

This project required me to create an illustration based web concept. A primarily red-orange and blue-green color palette was chosen to bring a bright and oceanic feel to the website. One page is  the home page offering information about upcoming events. The weather pages highlight the type of surf available and weather forecasts. The merchandise page shows a variety of items to be sold by the website. Personal illustrations, logo design, web design are all demonstrated through this concept.

Logo Design - Concerned Women for America

This was a real world project to redesign the logo for the Concerned Women for America. It was submitted to replace their current logo. A muted red and blue color scheme was used to make the logo modern. Smooth curves and a woman's face were utilized to give the logo a feminine look.

Character Design - Mad Scientist

This project required me and another student to work together to create a unique character design. We created a scientist who has gone insane from inhaling to many toxic chemical fumes. The pen tool and various gradients were used in the creation of this mad scientist.

Book Illustration - Timeline

This project required me to create an illustration based on a passage from a book. I chose an excerpt from the book Timeline by Michael Crichton. The line reads: "Stand still—eyes open—hold it....Now!" I chose to use a geometric style of illustration to give the piece a futuristic feel. On the other hand, a muted red-orange, orange, and yellow-orange color scheme was used to add a historical effect.

Photorealistic Product Illustration - Axe Body Wash

This project required me to create a vector illustration that looks like a high quality studio photograph. Axe Body wash was chosen from a list of Unilever© products and semi-sweet baking chocolate was chosen as a prop. The pen tool and gradient mesh tool were used to achieve the desired photorealistic effect. I plan to add a shadow between the cap and the rest of the bottle to obtain further realism.
